One walk away

In the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci
The first royal residence of the French Renaissance, the Château d'Amboise houses the tomb of Leonardo da Vinci in its chapel. He stayed at the Château du Clos Lucé towards the end of his life. You'll lose yourself in the park, which contains 16 giant machines, 8 sound terminals and 32 translucent canvases in honour of the genius.
