New to Siblu is Mimizan Lac, a touring park on the banks of beautiful Lake Aureilhan just south of Bordeaux, on France's south west coast. The park has a variety of pitches for you to bring your own tents, caravans and motorhomes for a peaceful break in a setting in tune with nature. The lakeside setting is perfect for swimming and fishing, and on-site amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, playground, mini golf and outdoor theatre.

Landes has some of Europe's best surf, with Biscarrosse, Hossegor and BIarritz known for their waves across the world. Beginners can join one of the local surf schools to learn the basics of riding the waves with qualified instructors.

Mimizan has six beaches offering 10km of fine sands. All are lifeguarded from May to September, with sheltered Courant de Mimizan offering the calmest waters for little ones, while the others offer great breaks for body boarding and surfing.
